Curatorial Policy

The Curatorial Committee meets in June and December each year to select and schedule the following year's exhibitions.

The mandate of the Terrace Art Gallery curatorial committee is to:

• Provide a diversity of themes and media in the exhibitions presented.
• Attracte a wide range of different audience in the Terrace area.
• Encourage and support both experienced and emerging artists to exhibit their work.
• Provide display opportunities for children and youth at the Annual Youth Art Show in May.
• Coordinate the summer TAA Annual Members show.
• Deliver exhibitions on schedule and within budget

Submission Deadlines:

• Winter Submissions: November 30

• Summer Submissions: May 31

About Us:

The Terrace Art Gallery is a public, non-profit facility dedicated to the promotion and advancement of the visual arts in the community for the past 25 years. 

The Terrace Art Gallery is operated by the Terrace Art Association

The Terrace Art Association believes that the visual arts have a unique capacity to communicate the mind and spirit of our community and the Gallery is proud to be part of this ongoing process.

To enrich local and regional culture by providing continuous exposure to the visual arts and encouraging community involvement through outreach, education and service.
